Atlanta -- C: The Falcons already have Peria Jerry, who's coming off a knee injury, but unless they're not planning on having him healthy, Corey Peters at No. 83 is an odd pick. OL Mike Johnson from Alabama was a fine pick at No. 98, nothing flashy.
Baltimore -- A: Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome pulls off his draft wizardry again with Sergio Kindle at 43, Terrence Cody at 57 and Ed Dickson at 70. Somehow, without a first-round pick, Newsome lands two first-round caliber guys in Kindle and Cody, plus a pass-catching weapon in Dickson.
Buffalo -- B: Third-rounder Alex Carrington, a DE with outstanding potential, should be a valuable piece in Buffalo's new 3-4 defense -- maybe even more so than Torell Troup, who Buffalo nabbed at No. 41. You have to wonder if they'll regret passing on Cody for Troup.
Carolina -- D+ : You can justify the Jimmy Clausen selection based on value alone, but the Panthers could have been fine heading into 2010 with Matt Moore at QB and passing on Clausen. The Brandon LaFell selection at No. 78 was a solid one. Trading a 2011 second-rounder for Armanti Edwards, though, is baffling.
Chicago -- A- : Hey, the Bears finally showed up! After sitting on the sidelines forever, Chicago nabbed FS Major Wright at 75. He's a very talented player at a huge position of need. Not having a second pick is all that keeps the Bears from a straight A.
Cincinnati -- B+ : How Carlos Dunlap, the No. 54 pick, decides to play will determine this grade in the future. He's talented, but a head case. Jordan Shipley at No. 84 and CB Brandon Ghee at 96 were excellent picks.
Cleveland -- C- : Taking Colt McCoy No. 85 actually saved this grade. SS T.J. Ward at No. 38 made absolutely no sense, and neither did RB Montario Hardesty at No. 59. Adding OT Shawn Lauvao late in the third will help with depth.
Dallas -- B+ : Only one pick on Friday, and consider that a provisional grade with the opportunity go either way. LB Sean Lee's a great pickup at No. 55 -- if he can stay healthy, a potentially major "if."
Denver -- B: The J.D. Walton selection at No. 80 was a stroke of genius and an absolute steal. We might be able to say the same about WR Eric Decker (No. 87 overall) down the line, too. Zane Beadles at No. 45 was too high, but he should be decent. read more about draft grades 2010 at this source
