Obama Extends Unemployment Insurance Deadline

An emergency decree signed into law Tuesday night, Obama will leave many of the unemployed, Tennessee, more time to receive unemployment benefits. This measure extends the eligibility period February 28 to March 30, the transition to extend the existing welfare programs. The new law, however, does not add additional benefits to weeks of any existing federal unemployment insurance extension.
In addition to Tennessee, before 26 weeks of unemployment compensation, the claimant must complete the extension of benefits for each layer, and then to the next. There are five extended benefits, and deadline for the transition to any new plates expire at the end of February. Delayed if the deadline has not yet been approved, approximately 14,000 claimants will only be able to complete its current level of interest.
All federal extensions, including the emergency unemployment compensation (1-4 layers) and the extension of state welfare programs paid by the U.S. Department of Labor.
"This is a very good news for a great number of claims who are near the end of their benefit period," James said Labor Commissioner Neeley. "These people should know they will continue to receive their weekly checks without a break, they will not have any application to continue to obtain benefits. The bottom line is that to Tennessee have more time to strengthen their job."
Claimant unemployment will continue to prove to the Tennessee Department of Labor, and will receive a letter, when their interest is the transition to the next level. Claimants exhausted their benefits on March 30 will automatically transition, Tennessee Department of Labor does not need access to a new level of application for unemployment benefits.
In addition to extending the transition period for all levels of interest, the application deadline for the United States to restore and re-investment in additional compensation bill the federal program, is extended to March 30.
The program has increased by 25 yuan, per week for all unemployment benefits. Beneficiaries who participate in before March 30, will continue to receive payment of the Foreign Affairs Committee, until October 9.
